Donation refunds
Current status: Angel Edu Tam Foundation Inc does not currently process online donations through this site. The policy below therefore acts as the framework that will apply if or when the Foundation reopens a verified online giving channel.
Charitable contributions are generally considered non-refundable once completed under common U.S. nonprofit practice. The Foundation will, however, consider the reasonable exceptions below.
Cases we will consider
- Duplicate transactions caused by a payment-processor technical error: contact within 30 days with payment evidence.
- Clear amount mistakes (for example, an extra digit): email with transaction details.
- Unauthorized or suspected fraudulent transactions: notify the Foundation and your payment processor / card-issuing bank.
- Donor-hardship circumstances reviewed by counsel on a case-by-case basis.
Not eligible for refund
- Contributions already disbursed or committed for the publicly stated charitable purpose.
- Change of mind after the 30-day window.
Tax implications
If a contribution is refunded after you have used it on a tax return, you may need to adjust that return. The Foundation has not been confirmed as federally tax-exempt under IRC §501(c)(3); see the Donor disclosure page. Consult your own tax advisor.
How to request
Email [email protected] with subject DONATION REFUND, including: transaction date, amount, last 4 digits of the payment method (if applicable), and a brief reason.
